Auto Europe has arranged your car rental with the car hire company named on this voucher and has collected payment from you on behalf of the car hire company. This Auto Europe voucher must be presented at the rental desk. This voucher is not a rental agreement and when you pick up the vehicle, you must sign a rental agreement provided by the rental company named on this voucher which will be subject to local laws. Please read the Terms and Conditions on this voucher carefully and especially check your rental inclusions and exclusions. All car rental rates are guaranteed in the currency stated above. All local fees for services not included in the rental are billed by, and under a contract with, the rental company named above and are billed in local currency. All car rates are guaranteed in EURO , all local fees are billed in local currency.
YOUR RENTAL INCLUDES
* Appropriate local sales taxes at the appropriate rate(s) in force.
* Unlimited mileage and fire insurance
* Liability Insurance for injuries or damages to persons or things outside the vehicle.

Rental includes Collision Damage coverage and Theft Protection for the vehicle. Rental limits potential vehicle damage or loss liability to an excess of approx EUR 1400.00. This insurance is not valid for single party accidents where there is a violation of traffic code or gross negligence of the driver. This insurance will be voided if the client does not complete all required paperwork.
* Rental includes Airport Surcharge for rental commencing at an airport location. Road Tax included.

RENTAL DOES NOT INCLUDE
* Insurance coverage for personal injuries to driver. Fuel. Client is advised to return the vehicle with a full fuel tank and to retain a copy of final receipt for their records.

Location surcharge on additional optional items & services purchased locally.
* One way rentals within Mainland or Island returned after 1 or 2 days will incur a fee of approximately EUR 50, rentals returned after 3 days or more are free of charge. One ways between Mainland and Sardinia incur a fee of approximately EUR 320.
* Local toll, highway fees, or travel stickers required by local authorities.

GENERAL TERMS

Auto Europe does not provide insurance. Coverage is provided by the rental company as indicated. Additional coverage may be available for purchase from the rental company.
* Auto Europe has no cancellation fee when Auto Europe is advised 48 hours prior to the reserved rental start date. Auto Europe does not charge any amendment fee up to 48 hours prior to rental start date however should a reservation be amended the client will have to pay the rate available at the time of change. Should the customer cancel less than 48 hours prior to the reserved rental start date a cancellation fee equal to the first 3 days of the rental will be charged. In case of a cancellation due to officially acknowledged Force Majeure Auto Europe will waive the cancellation fee and charge an adminstration fee of EUR 30/GBP25 only. Auto Europe does not refund any unused days if the customer does not show up, shows up late or returns the vehicle early. Regarding all of the above, the customer is always free to prove lesser cost..
* Drivers license must be held for a minimum of 3 years (some exceptions may apply).
* An International drivers license is required for renters holding a non EU license.
* Optional items (ie: luggage rack, child seats, etc.) are on a request basis only, for an additional fee.
* Deliveries/Collections are available on a request basis only, for an additional fee.
* Minimum driver age 21. Drivers age 21-22 will incur a young driver surcharge locally. Maximum driver age 80.
* Drop off charges, if applicable, are estimates only, and may change without notice.
* The rental invoice may only show the balance due on delivery. This assures that you will not pay unnecessary surcharges.

* Cars are not permitted to travel into Eastern Europe or any African country (i.e. Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, etc.). Additional drivers sign on and pay a fee locally.
* All rentals are based on 24 hour periods with a 3 day minimum rental, a full day is charged for any portion of a day that the vehicle is used.
* Auto Europe strongly advises client to check if car uses DIESEL or UNLEADED PETROL at time of pick up .
* Please note, regardless of the method of payment used to make this booking, you will be required at time of pick up by the local supplier to leave a security deposit for the vehicle.
This takes the form of an amount (minimum: excess+fuel+vat) being blocked on an international credit card in the name of the primary driver (cash deposits , maestro, switch, visa electron and all debit cards are not accepted). The blocked amount will be returned in full at the end of the rental provided the vehicle is returned in the same condition as rented.. Rentals exceeding 20 days, the deposit will be charged at commencement of the rental. Upon return this amount will be refunded, provided no new damage is found.
* In the event of damage and or loss of the vehicle an administration fee of EUR 35 + VAT will be charged in addition to any excess that may apply.
* In case of traffic violations, the local supplier will charge the customer credit card an administration fee of EUR 60.50 per fine. The local authorities will then contact the renter directly for payment of the fine.
* Please note: In common with most car hire suppliers the insurance coverage does not cover damage to windows, tyres, the roof, underside & interior of the vehicle, towing charges or damage caused negligently, wilfully or recklessly.
* When traveling to Germany, the vehicle requires an environmental emission sticker. Please check with the car rental company at time of pick up.
* In case of theft, accident or damage to the vehicle, regardless of the extent, driver must give a written statement to the return location. If client fails to do so, they will be completely responsible for the damage
* If driving the vehicle into Germany, winter tires may be required. It is the responsibility of the client to check local laws and request equipment as necessary.
