A few months ago a couple of my friends bought and tried them in Lithuania with a huge disappointment as your shampoos as well as conditioners have grown mold, some of them even exploaded into a lot of mess when opened for a repeated use.
I am really worried now and not sure as to whether continue buying and using Urtekram. Could you please advise me on the possible reason this might have happened? What sort of preservative system do you use and at what percentage?

Our products are certified organic and the standard does not allow strong chemical preservatives, parabenes, and phenoxyethanol.
The main preservation by Urtekram is through specific composition inhibiting microbial growth to a certain extent and heat treatment of the products followed by aseptic filling in bottles. This, however, does not exclude the possibility of post contamination.
As security of the process Urtekram makes a biological check on the filled samples. When the samples are approved ( < 10 cfu/ml ), the batch is released for sale.
If single items show growth of bacteria or fungi before the last date of sale, it is compensated by the price of the product or an identical product.
There is no reason why you shouldnt continue buying Urtekram if you personally is satisfied with our products and service.
