I'm reading at the moment the second book of the "Twilight" series by Stephenie Meyer. The first book has been adapted into a film which was screen in our cinemas some weeks ago.
It's about women's life in Iran. I've heard about it in SM. There were just positive comments about it, so I've bought it.

It's a vampire story, but not the scary one. The author represents the new type of vampires who are so called vegetarians. They do not kill people, moreover, they try to help people, for example, one of the characters of the book is working as a doctor in a hospital (Can you imagine vampire being a doctor where blood is everythere...
) To satisfy their thirst, they hunt wild animals. The whole story is about love between one of the vampires and a human girl. It's quite interesting
It's a fantasy-romance story!
As far as I know the first two books are translated to Lithuanian.
