Usually, we do not use articles before months and days of the week, e.g. The weekend is over on Monday morning. July and August are the most popular months for holidays.. When we speak however about the particular, "special" day of the week, we use the article, e.g. I always remember the Monday when I had an accident. The August of 2001 was hot and dry.

So, do not use articles before names of the week, unless you speak about very spacial Friday bigsmile.gif
