When I wrote about my mistakes: Not a big but they are MISTAKES - you corrected: "Not big but they are MISTAKES" g.gif

Why??? In the first sentence this a is necessary but in the second - no...I don't unterstand schmoll.gif

I attempt to explain you these grammar rules.
A, an and the are article
Mistakes are noun plural.
I think you know when we use article and when we use nouns plural.
