[COLOR=fuchsia]Hello,
Pasaulė, thank You very much
Well, I have several books which I like. I can't distinguish (?) one favourite book.
About poetry.... I am old-fashioned. What
can I recommend
to You? I can name my favourite poets. I like J. Aistis (I know
he's not very popular), H. Radauskas, early poetry by E. Mieželaitis and A. Miškinis... Something from G. Grajauskas...
They're Lithuanian authors, because I read in Lithuanian. Some of translations are really good, but I will say nothing about it, because to my mind it is almost impossible to translate
a poem.
The last novel touched me is by Leen Lander "Tegu užeina audra". ("Let the storm fall" (?)). It's a Finnish author with the story about life, love and stones....
If You are good enough
at Antique myth,
there is a very interesting Swedish book "Bangų mūša" (Sorry, I can't translate the name). It's
a story
based on the Odysseus journey.
And what about You? Can You recommend
an interesting book to me too? But really good, because I have no time
or possibilities for reading.....
