Hi, girls
Pasaule, I'd like to ask you, what's the difference between have and have got? Yesterday I wached a very interesting TV program - English version of "Apprentice". And two guys were talking in same conversation using both - have and have got I've been always wondering wich of those I should use in wich situation, now I have chance to ask a professional

Well, you can use both if have/have got = possess (e.g. have a lot of work/have got a lot of work), just have got is informal/colloquial. In other situations, when have is a part of a phrase or collocation (e.g. have dinner, have a date), you should use have.
I hope I've made myself clear?

Not really, but you could try some books for academic writing...

I don't know why you need it. If you're going to study abroad, you should find out first what the university or college you're interested in requires. In fact, most of them require to have IELTS, not FCE. Anyway, I don't know much about these exams.
Hello,
Though discussions are so inactive here, I'd like to ask your opinion about looking for job. Is it dificult for you to change or to find new position? How often do you change your work place? And what reasons did cause it?
I'm going to change my current job so your experience and advices is very important for me.

Hi, tell us about your new job? How did you find it? My experience about job changes is poor because I think I am loyal employee.. In my previous job I spend 7 years and now in my present job I have worked for 4 years.. I just prefer to change position every 2-3 years in the same job... At this moment I was promoted to another department..

hi ladies
I guess ,U wouldn't mind if I'd join U
talking about the jobs-I change them soooo often and before U'll ask-there's no specific reason for it-I'm just like a wind -one day nice and settled-the other day-wild and ready to rock'n'roll -basically,what I'm trying to say-for me it's just too boring,to be stuck in one place for, let's say, a year or so...
