I think the problem is, that in this case it is not a real question, but only "embedded" question smile.gif the question mark at the end of the sentence belongs to the phrase "Could I ask you...?" the phrase "how you learnt your English" is just a clause, thus the word order must be Subject - Verb -Objects, etc.

How do you live?

What does she like?
but
Do you know what she likes?

I learning english myself from book "Gramma is easy" . I think that this book is great. I like this book, because there are detail explaine english gramma.
I do difirents exercise from english sites, too.
What do you use matter for learning english?

It's so nice we have absolutely great teachers here 4u.gif

This weak is great for me. My both kids are well again. With some exceptions... So my daughter went to kindergarden - with blackeye. She was doing "some sports" on our bed and fell down. She cried a lot and the pain was tough. Well, she does not look nice now and everybody asks what I did to my little princess wub.gif unsure.gif
My son is waiting for his second tooth. So he is unhappy with everything and quite annoying.
Me, I'm doing lots of stuff and it's very busy. Oh, when it is not...

How are your days going on?

learning English is difficult, because it is a double work - you have to learn not only the pronunciation, but also the spelling... and vice versa smile.gif mirksiukas.gif

Thanks for the support hellene. I am not that good although. All what helps me is so called "language sence" maybe. But my grammar and sometimes spelling are truly "sick".

My son is 6 months smile.gif Now he has just 1 tooth, the second is just starting to grow.

Hello,

thanks Hellene, that you corrected my mistakes. I wrote , that my biggest problems are pronunciation and translation from Lithuanian to English.
Than I have done English grammar tests, I do it easy. There are I have done only several mistakes in these exercises.I talk about intermediate level. So I try to transliate from Lithuanian to English myself, and than I had done many mistakes.

I am enjoy, that I am found this theme. I am very thankfully for girls, therefor you have corrected my mistakes. I have tryed learning from my mistakes and I try do not repeat it.
