Hello everybody, you have become so active here, nice  4u.gif

Dogs. I used to have an English cocker spaniel  when I was a schoolgirl. I loved that dog so much. I think it is the best for children from about 6 years old. That kind of dog is very friendly, active, live. But it has to know who the master of its crowd is, i.e. family he lives in. Otherwise it becomes the leader. Then you cannot control it, which is dangerous.

Children. I have two. My girl is 4, my son is just about 6 months old. Both of them are amazing smile.gif

But. Dogs and children is a question to discuss. Some say it is good when children have something to take care of. Some say - dogs and children cannot live together, as dogs are not able to keep themselves very clean.
Actually, I have read one study about that. A dog can be bought when a family has no children yet. It is also possible to buy a dog when a baby is arriving (they will be of the same age). But one should not buy a dog while children are 1-5 years (approximately). There will be conflicts between a growing dog and a kid. I had the same experience.

I hope we will have a dog later smile.gif
